Kuwait City, 15 July, 2026 – Bahrain Exchange Company W.L.L. (BEC) Kuwait, a subsidiary of Al Ansari Financial Services PJSC (DFM: ALANSARI), has partnered with Western Union, enabling customers across Kuwait to access Western Union’s global money transfer network through BEC’s branches.
BEC’s customers can now send money through Western Union’s global network via BEC’s branches across the country, including locations at Kuwait International Airport. The service provides customers with greater convenience, secure and reliable transfers, faster transaction processing, and the ability to receive funds in local currencies where available.
The partnership comes amid continued demand for international money transfer services across Kuwait, driven by the country’s diverse expatriate population and the ongoing importance of remittances in supporting families and communities around the world.
Commenting on the partnership, Mohammad Bitar, Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer of Al Ansari Financial Services, added: “This partnership enables BEC to provide customers with greater choice and access when sending money internationally.
